Dir. Johann Jungreithmair

Trade fair director Johann Jungreithmair (KommR) was born in Bad Hall, Upper Austria on the 29th September 1953. He is married and the father of two sons.

His career began on the 4th March 1974 as an expo technician at ‘Contact Fachausstellungen’, a trade fair company in Salzburg. Following several internal posts, as well as promotions to head of sales, director and signatory for ‘System Standbau-Verleih GesmbH’, from February 1982 Director Johann Jungreithmair was appointed as one of the three general managers at ‘Contact Fachmessen GesmbH’. He maintained his managerial position during and subsequent to the takeover of Contact Fachmessen by the Reed-Elsevier Group in 1992. In August 1996 Mr Jungreithmair became the operative manager at Reed Messe Salzburg GmbH.

In the autumn of 2000 Mr. Jungreithmair played a fundamental role in the takeover of the ‘Wiener Messen’ as part of Reed Exhibitions’ international negotiating team. At the turn of the year 2000/01 the newly founded Reed Exhibitions Messe Wien became the exclusive operators of the Vienna Exhibition and Congress Centre. As CEO and chairman of the management board, alongside responsibility for ongoing modernisation of the existing expo portfolio Mr. Jungreithmair is also charged with the task of increasing the degree of international use of the trade fair and congress centre, particularly in the growing congress fair sector.

Matthias Limbeck (Dipl.Ing)

Matthias Limbeck (Dipl.Ing) has been a member of the management team for the Reed Exhibitions Group in Austria since the 1st August 1999. Since then he has managed alongside Director Johann Jungreithmair (Chairman & CEO) and Martin Roy (Mag.) (Finance, Controlling, Personnel, IT) and has been responsible for marketing, new business development and business in CEE/SEE (Central/South Eastern Europe). Under his auspices a number of extremely successful trade fairs, some on operating an international scale, have been launched in Austria. Examples include the ‘Vienna Autoshow’, ‘Viennafair’ for contemporary art, and the ‘Real Vienna’. In the summer of 2010 Matthias Limbeck also took on additional operative managerial responsibilities for a number of expo themes in the Reed Exhibitions Messe Wien portfolio.

Matthias Limbeck was born in Gols, Lake Neusiedl, Austria in 1964. He studied agricultural economics at the University for Agriculture in Vienna and export economics at the Vienna School of Business. He began his career with the soft drinks manufacturers, Coca Cola, later moving to the Sigl private brewery. He has been CEO at Reed Exhibitions Messe Salzburg since the 1st August 1999. Since 2001 he has also held this position at the newly established subsidiary, Reed Exhibitions Messe Wien. Matthias Limbeck lives with his partner and their son.

Martin Roy (Mag.)

Martin Roy (Mag.) has been the Chief Executive for Finance, Personnel and IT for the Reed Exhibitions Group in Austria since the 15th July 2002.

Martin Roy (Mag.) was born in Dornbirn, Austria in 1969. Having studied social and economic sciences at the Vienna School of Business and New York University he then worked in various positions and for a number of years at Unilever/Eskimo-Iglo, including Head of Controlling and Financial Accountancy. He continued his career at Alpha Thinx Mobile Phone Services AG and was responsible for numerous tasks including the establishment and management of bookkeeping, cash management, business planning, controlling and purchasing departments. Immediately previous to joining Reed Exhibitions he was CFO (Chief Financial Officer) for Axess AG in Koppl near Salzburg.

Martin Roy (Mag.) is married and is the father of two children.
